And I’m sure it’s below my $500.00 deductible so it’ll be fun to pay for it. The body shop will probably want to fill it with bondo, too. Which I freaking HATE. Damn. A shitty end to a shitty week.

That sucks, Man. But if it’s not creased at the bottom, paintless dent removal will work and not be too expensive.

I was gonna say PDR and some touchup paint.

AHHH park as far away from everyone as possible, every time. Even if it means dropping your wife off and then going to park just do it. Don’t listen to anyone.

This just in ... people suck.

I do. But at work our lot is so small, you have to park next to someone. But there aren't any cars at work fitting the bill. Who knows.

Silvia or Sylvia? Both are bad, but one would make me extra sad.

If it happened today and it happened at work it was the person who parks next to you no doubt about it unless people who don’t work there can also park and in that case I would find somewhere else to park if I couldn’t park as far away as possible.

I HATE THAT CRAP. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.
Hopefully it'll be an easy fix.

Is your car nice enough to warrant fixing it at all? (Not saying it ain’t...) I like a few dings on my cars. Then I don’t have to worry about the next one.

Have a PDR guy pop the dent out and touch it up yourself in the summer when you have some time to kill. GreatAmmoNYC video on filling chips and touchups. I’ve thought about trying to repair some terrible touchups on my truck using his method, but its a truck... Maybe some other day.

Wouldn't PDR work pretty well on that? (lol that leading image in the link though)

I highly recommend paintless dent repair. This happened on the day I bought my car:
The local paintless dent repair guy was able to massage the dent out for less than $100. Notice that the dent goes right into the body line? There was no evidence of a dent once he was done. It was magic.

They can probably pdr that out. it’s not in a crease. Although you will probably always be able to know it’s there.

I bet it was the chick you got a picture of. SHES STANDING RIGHT THERE, GET HER!

Lol she's my coworker that noticed it. She drives a blue SUV so it wasn't her.

It’s a 2016 Mazda6 I’ve owned for 4 months. I’d say it’s nice enough to fix lol. Now, if it was my truck (a ‘95 S10), I'd laugh.

Sylvia. She’s named after one of my favorite ‘80s country singers.

That’s a yes. Your S10 sounds more like my kind of car. Actually, my daily is a ‘97 Astro van. Sorry about your ding. I sat in a parking lot one day eating ice cream with my wife and watched the wind blow a shopping cart all the way across and into the fender of a $40k Cadillac. Looked a lot like the wound on your car door.

You’re doing better than a guy at work. A tree fell on his Challenger today and crushed the right rear.

Freaking people man. you know they felt, or heard their door hit your car, there is no way they didn’t notice that.
